GUHHH... this picture is finally DONE! *whew* It took 5 days to finish? Again, I can't remember. ((Bad memory)) Eh, it was somewhere around there.

Well, this is the entire cast of Azumanga Daioh! Well, almost the entire cast. I'm missing Kagura in this pic. I'm so upset that I forgot to put her in! She'll definitely be in the next Azu Dai pic though. *^^*

Let me introduce you to the characters!

Bottom Row (L-R):

Chiyo: Cute AND smart! She's only 10, but already in high school! She also likes animals. *^_^* She's pretty much perfect... except at sports. *^^;*

Sakaki: The "cool" one in the group. She's shy, but deep down she's a nice person who LOVE animals and cute things... especially cats. Unforunately, she doesn't have much luck with cats (they always end up biting her!) She's also very athletic.

Tomo: 3 words - Loud as HELL!!! Or so Yomi says. Tomo's very hyper, energetic, and competitive. She brings a lot of humor to Azumanga Daioh. She kinda reminds me of my character, Rina. *^_^*

Yomi: She's more of the "normal" one in the group, I guess. She's friendly, but does speak her mind. She can be a bit loud sometimes with a temper too. *^^;*

Osaka: Her name is actually Ayumu, but they all call her Osaka because she's from Osaka, Japan. Well, actually, she's FROM Osaka, but she lived in Kobe when she was in elementary school, but she was born in Wakayama. xD As Tomo says, "I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE WAKAYAMA IS!!!" Anyway, Osaka is... very... clueless. VERY VERY CLUELESS. She's always thinking of unrelated stuff during a casual conversation with friends. Oh, and she's not very athletic. *^^;*

Top Row (L-R)

Kaorin: Very sweet and shy. She has a crush on Sakaki and wants to be just like her in every way. Kaorin often blushes when she's around Sakaki. *^_^*

Miss Kurosawa: The gym teacher at the school (and also teaches, I think). A very mature and smart woman, unlike her colleague, Miss Yukari. *^^;*

Miss Yukari: Another teacher at the school, but completely opposite of Miss Kurosawa. Actually, she's best friends with Kurosawa... even attending the school together when they were younger. Yukari never really grew up though. She acts very much like the students at the school. *^^;* She's a very funny character, I must admit to that.

Mr. Kimura: Weird. Perverted. But a really funny character nonetheless because of that. xD His reason for becoming a teacher in the first place was because he likes teenage girls. *^__^;;* I think he likes Sakaki the most right now too. Oh, and he wants the girls to tuck their shirts in when they're in their gym uniforms. *^O^;;;* He even drew a diagram on the board to show the class what he meant!

Well, that concludes the character descriptions. Hopefully you all have a better understanding about this wonderful and crazy manga (and anime!) called Azumanga Daioh. Vol. 1 of the manga is already out so go and buy it! I can definitely guarantee a happy buy and many laughs! Oh, and ADV will be releasing the ANIME next year so buy that too! I this series!!! I've seen most of the episodes at the anime club I used to go to... it's hilarious!!!

Anywho, I really like the way this picture turned out. I wish I could turn it into a pencil board er something... kinda looks like one. My next image like this will be with my OWN characters. Heh, my brother says I should make more images like this, but with my own so... yeah. Be on the lookout for that. *^_^*
